With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, I bring a rare dual expertise in medicinal chemistry and biochemistry/protein sciences. I began my career in a medicinal chemistry group, where I contributed to the discovery of two marketed drugs: raltegravir, an HIV integrase inhibitor, and grazoprevir, an HCV protease inhibitor.
More recently, I joined a protein sciences group, focusing on the production, purification, and characterization of biological targets for drug discovery.
This combined experience—ranging from designing bioactive compounds to mastering biological targets—represents a strong asset for translational research and cross-disciplinary drug discovery projects.
