Responsibilities and hard skills:
- Flashing software programs on prototype devices (Qualcomm and MTK platforms) by using Mi Flash Tool, ADB fastboot, or installing .bat files
- Push and modify system files, getting logs from device to laptop by various ADB commands
- Unlocking devices with MiUnlock
- Advanced usage of desktop log capture and analysis tools (Qualcomm: QXDM, QCAT, QPCAT,
QPST; MTK: ELT Tools)
- Log and network data analysis/modifying by using special tools such as: Wireshark, SQLite Expert Professional 5
- 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, 5G NSA/SA, VoLTE/ViLTE, VoWiFi/ViWiFi
- GPS tracking and band map analysis with recording logs (MI GNSS tool, G-Net Track Pro)
- Performing field testing on mobile products with technologies such as CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, GNSS, IOT and 5G to ensure delivery of testing services that meet client's requirements
- Conducting call processing, SMS, MMS, RCS-chats, VoLTE/VoWiFi Call Handover and Data Packages for implementation and testing on prototype devices
- Performing network testing (Call/Network registration/HPLMN etc.)
- Performing handover testing 5G(NR/SA, NSA)-LTE 4G(E-UTRAN)-3G(HPLMN)-2G(EDGE)/SRVCC(all types)/CFSB and other transitioning tests
- Roaming local testing by using foreign operator’s sim-cards with different scenarios
- Performing Supplementary Services testing (Call Forwarding, Call Barring, Call Waiting, Caller ID)
- Performing mobility field testing on car and city transport
- Creating bug reports and writing test documentation
- Good understanding of Android OS
- Experience with Bug tracking systems (Jira)
- High adaptability skills to overseas tests
