Vicente Béreau

Second year bachelor student at SciencesPo, at the European campus of Dijon. Passionate about all subjects of political sciences and humanities, history and politics in particular. Determined to go as high as possible and have the best results in everything I do, intellectually motivated by everything I study and able to communicate, including in front of a large audience.

• During one week (september 2022), I have been able to do an internship at Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos (Lisbon, Portugal), where I had the pleasure of meeting the President of Portugal, as well as climate change specialists. We discussed topics such as greenwashing, fashion, as well as the role of companies in sustainable development.

• For a whole day, with a group partner, I participated in regional session of "Euroscola" (Euro-school), where I had to present, in front of a jury, some policies (simulating the Euopean Parliament) to fight against fake news and disinformation. We finished second, two point behind the first, who qualified for the national session. The winner of national session won a trip and a visit to European Parliament, in Strasbourg.

• I have participated twice to this anual event in Portugal, at school (in Évora). The rules were the same than for "Euroscola", the winner was qualified for the regional and then the national phase. We had different lists, each one with 10 members and at least 3 political mesures for a specific problem, given some months before. We had then a debate detween all lists at school's auditorium.
• I lead a list for the first time in 2021/2022, and this year we qualified for the regional session, and we won it, therefore we qualified for national session. The topic of this year's debate was also how to fight against fake news.
• I have been member of another list the year after (2022/2023), I was sixth in the list and I wasn't qualified for the regional session.

• I had a photography session in Febuary 2022, in Arraiolos (Évora), in which the goal was to get the basis of photography.

• I did a comic book internshipm, during three weeks, at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, in october and november 2021. Based on Tintin, Hergé's comic book, the goal was to teach us the drawing style of comics.
• Then, we had to draw a few comic strips, where we had to tell a story of Tintin in today's world.
• At the end, we had to publish it in an amateur fanzine.
