Business Transformation Intern SAP S4 Hana:

  • Project Nova is the implementation project team responsible for rolling out SAP S4Hana in Africa Zone.
  • Coordinating development of compliance reports to improve visibility to the Internal Control team by building an automated Power Bi report to improve the Minimum Internal Controls Standard MICs score and reduce manual intervention to ensure the integrity of the data.
  • Coordinating the development of automated Power Bi operational reports in the Procurement, Finance, Logistics, and Supply towers to provide teams with analytical insight to improve decision making and operational efficiency.
  • Conducting workshop session with business users to obtain reporting requirements and getting sign off on the requirements.
  • Providing the requirements to the relevant team to provide functional specifications.
  • Providing the functional specification to the developer to develop the report.
  • Ensuring the availability of the ERP tables required to develop the Power Bi are available in the data lake. If the tables are not available on the data lake, ensure that the tables are added to the backlog of the Data and Architecture team to ensure that the table are replicated.
  • Documenting of the weekly stand-up meeting with the developers to track issues, open items and blockers.
  • Facilitating the resolution of the identified issues, blockers and open items by following up with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Using the tracked project data to develop a status report to present to the various stakeholders wherein which the identified issues, blockers, open items, and dependencies are highlighted against the project timeline.
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation.

Internal Control Intern:

  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining the Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) framework with local and global changes to risks, controls, control owners and any other required details.
  • Mapping and documenting the detailed end to end process walkthrough (including RACI, SLA's, and document retention requirements) within the internal control SOP.
  • Ensuring compliance to policies is tested as part of the MICS control testing requirements.

  • Using the Payments dashboard and the Due Diligence Touch Point Vendor dashboard on BrewRight to assess vendors used on site.
  • Running due diligence on newly discovered touch point vendors.
  • Reviewing licenses and permits. Updating the latest versions on Komrisk.
  • Preparing a presentation of the findings of the Compliance Audit for the relevant stakeholders.
  • Compliance Monitoring Super user on the Global Compliance Analytics Platform which uses company accounting systems to rates risks, identify and monitor suspicious transactions.
  • This entails interacting with the platform to improve its functionality and to resolve identified risks, liaising with countries in the Zone to gather supplementary information to close out investigations into identified risks.

  • Representative for the Africa Zone as a super user at the global community of best practice .
  • Lead the successful achievement of the 80% of S4 critical reports built and approved for Nigeria KPI. A total of 89 reports developed, built in PBI, and approved by key business users across OTC, PTP, ATR and Logistics. These reports have improved operational efficiency, strengthened controls, and enhanced visibility.
  • These reports resulted in an improved MICs Q4 score for Nigeria of 82.4% (an Improvement from the Q1 MICs score for Nigeria of 39.4% ).
