2. UMTS handset testing.(Toshiba handset): (from September'08 to October'08)
· Involved in test case design on supplementary services of 3G handsets based on 3GPP specifications.
· Automation of radio test cases of LTK. Radio test case involves making 100 MO/MT calls, making a MO call to the called number. It is a 10-hour test which we need to run. The script which I developed automated the following functionality.
3. CDMA handset testing(Toshiba handset): (From October'08 to May'09)
· Coordinated with TATA Indicom (CDMA carrier in INDIA) and figured out which functional areas (e.g. MMS, Browser) of the handset can be tested offshore.
· Test case design based on Verizon's specs.
· Conducted training sessions on CDMA basics so that the team gets acquainted with CDMA technology.
· Interaction with client on a weekly basis and escalation of bottlenecks if any.
· Managed the System Determination testing team of India unit for three years. Duties include work management and people management of team. Responsible for the System determination deliverables of the team for all phones.
· Actively involved in the Change Request (CR) management, CR resolution, CR risk assessment and phone health report generation for various phone projects.
· Test case design for protocol verification (system determination) of 1X CDMA and EVDO targets.
· Verified SD 2.0 algorithm on dual mode, dual band and tri-mode targets which has MSM6000, MSM6050, MSM6100 and QSC6055 chipsets
· Automated the test cases which verifies SD 1.0 algorithm on tri-mode targets which had MSM5100 chipsets. Tools used were PERL and QXDM.
· Member of a team which set up a 3G lab in Kyocera for CDMA handset testing. The in-house lab was used to conduct RF Parametric tests (Layer 1), Air interface tests (Layer 3) and application testing.
