Mangos is a fast-food stand in the Aeroville shopping center. In this stand we sell donuts, sandwiches, crepes and smoothies. For the first time I had to work in a very small place where there were quite a few of us working, so we had to be well organized so that all the tasks could be accomplished with success. My job was to take orders, serve customers, wash dishes and keep my workstation and utensils clean.
This job involved clearing declarations so that they could be exported to their destinations by cargo aircraft. I also had to check that the invoices for the goods had no errors and that customs rules were respected.
I had to adapt very quickly to this new working environment.
My job was to operate the attractions and guide customers to the games that would suit them best. I also had to ensure the safety of the customers, and I had to start learning the basics of English to be able to understand and make myself understood by the many foreign customers.
My job was to cook the starters and send them to the customer very quickly, and always keep my workstation clean. The restaurant seated 70 people and was located at the boarding gates in one of the terminals at Paris airport. In the kitchen, we served traditional French dishes.
I was a kitchen trainee in this company, so I learned a lot during this period.
My job was to prepare dishes in large quantities, as we had to serve over 500 people at a time. It was also my first experience of working in a professional environment and dealing with customers.
