Our group focused on the study of the structural biology by X-Ray Crystallography of EGFR and HER2, two ErbB
receptors involved mainly in non-small cell lung cancer and breast cancer.
I have become familiar with every step of protein production and purification and protein crystallization (cell culture, gene expression induction, cell lysis, purification with AKTA (Ni-NTA & SEC), ammonium sulfate precipitation, SDS-PAGE, microbatch protein crystallization).
I participated to the redaction of a
review paper on the structural biology of EGFR and HER2 and their relevance
to NSCLC as co-author. The review is currently being reviewed.
