Project 1: RENFE and FGC.

Description:

• Scopes handle end walls, luggage stacks, and partition walls.
• Managing concept and detail design with mounting scheme, weight management, DFM/A/S, F&S, hatch kinematics, G&F, PQ, and costing.
• Exporting the Integrated Harness into the Capital Harness to verify all connectors, routing, and interactions with suppliers.

Description:

• Scopes handles exhaust lining, electrical unit covering (ERTMS), air duct, end wall, partition wall, and side linings.
• Major activities include concept design, requirement verification, defining special process scopes, assembly sequence, tolerance stack-up, and design review with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Leading five commodities and delivering train cab and saloon system design to all gateways until the start of the industrialization phase.
• Developed and implemented integration solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Vehicle layout preparation and concept architecture study for the bid project based on requirements.

Project 2: 15m Rear Engine Coach Bus (Multi Axle)

Industry: Automotive.

Description:

• Concept Preparation and Design Proposals for RE MAC.
• Competitor product benchmarking and recording service-related difficulties in that product.
• Validating the digital mock-up DR for TRIMS gap, clearance, and flushing.
• Preparation of vehicle concepts, bus body structure, architecture, and layouts.
• Preparation of necessary documents to get approval from the Design and Pre-Release Authorization Reviews Committee at Design Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 release.
• Designing chassis frame support members and engine room structure integration.
• Preparing and finalizing DFMEA and DVVP for the parts and systems, as per AL standards.
• Homologation regulations update on BSVI vehicles.
• Validation of parts at the component testing lab, the vehicle evaluation test team, and addressing all Component Failure Reports (CFR) before the parts stage-3 release.
• 3D/2D design hygiene concerning kinematics, clash, clearance, and mounting strategy. Releasing the final model drawings in PLM.
• Preparing installation drawings for vehicle aggregates (for proto-build).
• Coordination of Proto build and support.

Project: Full Contract Execution of London Olympic Bus Design (Single and Double Deck).

Client: ADL, UK.

Description

• The project scope of height and width changes in the existing bus.
• Designing the bus body superstructure concerning the designed bus chassis.
• As per customer specifications, different sections of the bus were designed to meet regulations.
• Electrical and electronics components, like ABS, EDC, and BCU packaging, through Solid Edge, for standards and IP level, model the concepts of CAD and meet the target.
• Interacting with other teams, like VI, FBS, FES, and VEE, to get the required inputs for routing the wiring harnesses in CATIA V5.
• Preparing the installation drawings for the harnesses to enable the design release.
• Releasing the final model drawings in PLM.
• My responsibility in this project is to understand the chassis requirements of all systems, the concept design of the structure for all subsystems, and the pipe design for heating, cooling, and braking systems. After getting approval from customers, I distributed work to team members for the final design. Quality check at every stage of the project, and deliver as per the commitment given to the customer.
• Designing the structure for electrical parts and harness routing by considering the different customer and other system requirements.
• This vehicle includes five variants, initially starting with the A40 (40 seated + operator). Later, the same variant was converged into other variants: CNG Vehicle, Electric Vehicle, A35 (35 seated + operator), and Articulated Bus.
• Build support for the vehicles on the production line. I have coordinated with different subsystem teams to finalize the design.

Project 4: Light Compact Aircraft (LCA) and Intermediate Jet Trainer.

Industry: Aerospace - HAL.

• Handled Catia V5R19 design part modeling, drafting, and assembly of wing structural components.
• Creating drawings for electrical components, mechanical parts, wing design support (composite), and production support.
