I am a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse and Midwife, driven by a deep passion for woman-centred care and advocacy. With four years of experience at the John Hunter Hospital, I have had the privilege of supporting women through their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys. I believe in fostering empowering relationships based on trust, respect, and informed choice. Currently pursuing Calmbirth Educator certification, I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge and offering holistic, evidence-based care. My goal is to provide continuity of care through the Hunter Midwifery Group Practice (HMGP) model, ensuring women feel supported, safe, and empowered in every step of their journey.
In my role as a Registered Nurse and Midwife, I provide holistic, evidence-based care across all stages of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My focus is always on creating a safe and supportive environment where women feel empowered to make informed decisions. I take great pride in my ability to establish strong, trusting relationships with the women I care for, ensuring they are both heard and respected throughout their journey. Whether it's offering clinical support or emotional reassurance, my approach is always centred on the individual needs of each woman and her family.
Key Responsibilities:
Before transitioning into midwifery, I worked as a Registered Nurse in various hospital settings, gaining invaluable skills that I continue to draw upon in my midwifery practice. The ability to provide holistic, compassionate care was always at the forefront of my approach, whether I was caring for post-operative patients or new mothers.
