Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to ensure the safety and security of the building, employees, visitors, and assets.
• Access Control: Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry. Issue visitor badges and check identification when necessary.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect and respond to security threats in real-time.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, including coordinating with emergency services when required.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate security reports, including incident reports, daily logs, and maintenance of security records.
• Customer Service: Provide a professional and approachable presence to assist employees and visitors with any security-related inquiries or concerns.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential security risks or vulnerabilities and report findings to management for further action.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and regulations, and support investigations as needed.
• Fire Safety and First Aid: Assist in fire drills and provide first aid when necessary, following established emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Window Cleaning:Clean windows, glass doors, and glass partitions on both residential and commercial properties.
  Use appropriate tools such as squeegees, scrapers, cloths, and specialized cleaning solutions to remove dirt, streaks, and grime.
  Apply cleaning chemicals, water, and detergents as needed for various types of surfaces.
  
• Exterior and High-Level Cleaning:Safely clean exterior windows at various heights, including the use of ladders, scaffolding, and/or aerial lifts when necessary.
  Clean windows on hard-to-reach places, following safety protocols and using safety equipment.
  
• Detailing and Maintenance:Check windows for damage, cracks, or defects and report issues to the supervisor or property owner.
  Ensure the work area is clean and safe after completing cleaning tasks.
  
• Customer Service:Interact with clients courteously and professionally.
  Follow the specific needs and requests of clients (e.g., timing, additional services like screen cleaning or frame detailing).
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling: Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of the premises to observe and monitor for signs of suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
• Monitoring Security Systems: Operate surveillance equipment (CCTV, alarm systems, etc.) to monitor the premises, ensuring quick response to any alerts or unusual activities.
• Access Control: Ensure proper access control measures are followed, such as verifying identification and monitoring visitor sign-ins and employee entry and exit points.
• Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, intrusions, or accidents, and assist in coordinating the response with emergency services.
• Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed security logs, documenting all security incidents, daily activities, and any irregularities. Prepare incident reports for management and law enforcement if necessary.
• Enforcement of Policies: Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations to maintain order and safety. Address violations professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Customer Service: Provide assistance and directions to visitors, staff, and guests, ensuring a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Investigations: Assist in investigating security breaches, accidents, or other incidents by collecting evidence and providing statements as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other departments to ensure comprehensive security and safety efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Emergency Response:Respond promptly to fire alarms, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and rescues.
  Operate fire apparatus, equipment, and tools to contain and extinguish fires.
  Provide emergency medical care at the scene of accidents or injuries, including first aid and CPR, within the scope of certification.
  Assist in rescue operations, including vehicle extrications, water rescues, and high-angle rescues.
  
• Fire Prevention & Education:Conduct fire safety inspections and assist with public education programs in schools, community centers, and businesses.
  Educate the public on fire safety practices and emergency preparedness.
  Perform routine checks of fire safety equipment, hydrants, and facilities.
  
• Equipment Maintenance:Ensure firefighting apparatus, equipment, and gear are in good working order by conducting regular checks and performing basic maintenance.
  
• Training & Development:Participate in ongoing training to maintain fire certification and improve skills related to firefighting, rescue techniques, hazardous materials handling, and emergency medical response.
  Attend scheduled drills and practice scenarios to remain proficient in response strategies.
  
• General Fire Station Duties:Assist with maintaining the fire station's cleanliness and organization, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are readily available.
  Complete and maintain accurate logs and reports on activities, incidents, and training.
