EDF (French Electricity Company)
Paris
2023.10 - Actuel
  • Technical lead for Project CALYPSO, overseeing the successful deployment (June 2024) of a ~500‑node on‑premise FLEX HPC cluster for EDF’s nuclear‑energy division.
  • Coordinating all technical stakeholders—EDF project team, internal datacenter teams, HPC vendor (BULL/EVIDEN), and external HPC/SysAdmin experts (INTM).
  • Hands-on implementing and validating, including PUPPET stack configuration, RHEL 8 cluster installation, performance benchmarking (HPL/HPCC, OSU, IO500), acceptance testing vs. RFP targets, and early business-code validation;
  • Currently preparing the RFP for a new HPC cluster.

HPC Operations Manager

EDF (French Electricity Company)
Paris
2020.05 - 2023.09
  • Operational management of EDF’s large-scale mutualized HPC systems, ensuring reliable day‑to‑day operations (incidents, changes, problems management) across two TOP500‑class clusters: CRONOS (~2000 nodes) and GAIA (~1200 nodes).
  • Coordinating and technical interface with all associated stakeholders, including EDF datacenter teams, the HPC vendor (BULL/EVIDEN), SysAdmin teams (INTM), and internal/external HPC expertise groups.
  • Planning and leading annual full‑cluster maintenance, orchestrating a multi‑team 5‑day shutdown to perform major upgrades and updates involving SysAdmins, vendor teams, and HPC experts.

Tech Lead HPC Integration

Renault Group
Paris
2016.07 - 2020.05
  • Leading the HPC software integration team, managing the full scientific computing stack (CFD—both in‑house and commercial—plus Manufacturing, Crash, NVH, and related domains).
  • Developed HPC integration methodologies, including scripting (Bash/Python), containerization with Singularity, scheduler tuning (LSF), monitoring configuration, benchmarking, optimization, and performance/scalability testing.
  • Handled advanced troubleshooting, operational incident resolution, and debugging of in‑house scientific codes.
