  • Preparation of the budget of each fiscal year with the budget template for the each year
  • Ensure the implementation of the approved budget of the commission for the fiscal year
  • Checking vouchers before passing it for payments
  • Handled salary schedule of staff of the commission
  • Handled the deductions of PAYE, NHF from the salaries of staff Raised payment vouchers, in line with the procedures of voucher preparation
  • Ensure proper calculations of WHT & VAT of contractors to the commission and make appropriate remittances to FIRS
  • Coordinated the execution of all planned specific functions
  • Rendition of IGR records collected on behalf of the commission to the appropriate authority, Accountant General of the Federation(AGF) and National Assembly, when requested for
  • Kept and updated all books of accounts of the unit to an acceptable standard
  • In charge of revenue payments made to the commission and, remit to the Consolidated Revenue Fund(CRF)
  • Kept proper records of the IGR (internally generated revenue) overhead, and capital cashbooks and prepared the financial statements to standard
