For me, as a Ukrainian woman experiencing war and its consequences, The Roerich Pact “Peace through Culture” embodies my desire for peace, justice and harmony through cultural heritage and expression. Peace through culture is not just a slogan, but a guide and a living principle that gives me strength and inspiration in difficult times. Peace through culture is a real oasis where one can find solace and hope. Today I know for sure that in art, music, literature we can find strength and inspiration that help us overcome difficulties and move forward. In this context, UNESCO's work takes on special significance, recalling the importance of culture in the process of healing and accompaniment to peace.
