Paris Team Leader in Solids Mechanics

Olys Engineering
Paris
03.2021 - 09.2022
  • Participated in weekly technical meetings with the client;
  • Managed and piloted the project team;
  • Participated in production as a calculator, controller, and approver:

- Conducted flexibility calculations with finite element calculation software (SYSPIPE and PIPESTRESS);

- Used isometric plans and the PDMS model to create the geometry, analyzed the loads to be applied, and analyzed results;

- Conducted fatigue mechanics analyses, implementing various finite element calculation methods (ANSYS)

- Carried out optimizations to improve calculation results;

- Produced technical sheets and calculation notes

PhD Student in Solids Mechanics

CEA Cadarache
Marseille
06.2016 - 12.2019
  • Studied the phenomena responsible for the pellet fuel to cladding gap closure in the FNR nuclear codes;
  • Identified a new phenomenon of gap closure through 3D thermomechanical simulation and assessed its impact on the fuel temperature using finite element methods (CAST3M/LICOS);
  • Formulated a 1D analytical/numerical model for the new gap closure phenomenon and implemented it in the multi-physics nuclear code GERMINAL (C++ and CAST3M);
  • Validated the proposed model by comparing temperatures obtained with experimental measurements from the CEA validation database;
  • Conducted studies on the mechanical stresses experienced by the cladding in austenitic steel after the closure of the fuel-cladding gap, verifying the 'RCC-MR' sizing criteria;
  • Wrote an internal technical note, an article in the international newspaper 'Journal of Nuclear Materials,' co-authored an article for the international FR17 conference, and participated in the ECCM 2018 international conference in Glasgow
