• Designed and executed the transformation of IPXEG’s legacy IP/Core network into a resilient MPLS Core Network spanning Africa, Europe, USA, and Brazil. This strategic overhaul enhanced scalability, routing control, security, and redundancy for global service delivery across mission-critical applications.
• Led the expansion of the IPXEG core network from a flat 2-node architecture serving 18 clients to a robust MPLS-based core with 22 base stations, supporting over 380 enterprise and SME clients. The solution increased performance, security, and scalability within Equatorial Guinea and regionally.
• Designed and built global Points of Presence (PoPs) to extend the IPX Global MPLS backbone and achieve low-latency, high-availability service delivery. PoPs established at: Equinix Lisbon, Portugal; Telehouse North, London, UK; Aberdeen, UK; 123.Net, Michigan, USA; Data Foundry – Houston 2, USA; RackAfrica Data Center, Accra, Ghana; Camtel Data Center, Cameroon; Tier-III Data Centers in Lagos, Nigeria & Maputo, Mozambique.
• Built a Follow-the-Sun Network Operations Center (NOC) in Michigan, USA, operating in tandem with the Africa NOC to offer continuous global support for clients in oil & gas and diplomatic sectors (including US, Spanish, French, and Portuguese embassies).
• Deployed a complete O3b satellite solution for IPXEG in Equatorial Guinea, providing diverse, low-latency bandwidth to Oil & Gas clients, embassies, and enterprise clients.
• Expanded IPXEG's MPLS backbone beyond Equatorial Guinea into Cameroon, Nigeria, Portugal, the UK, the USA, and Brazil—empowering seamless regional and transatlantic service delivery.
• Led the network upgrade from a WiMAX solution to a 4G LTE infrastructure in Equatorial Guinea, expanding capacity from 20 enterprise clients to over 1,000 clients, including SMEs and corporate clients.
• Established ISO 27001:2013-certified ISMS for RedWall Synergy and ASKAR Technology Solutions in Uganda, Ghana, and Canada, aligning operations with international best practices in information security.
• Designed and built the Uganda National CyberSOC/CSIRT in collaboration with ASKAR Technology Solutions, creating national-level incident detection and response capability.
