In my latest job I was responsible for the manipulation, post-processing and

editing of images using Adobe Photoshop software.

My main activities were:

• To enhance visual appeal and quality of images done during photo session for various occasions and events. This involved variety of changes, from straightforward ones, like color and exposure adjustments, to more complex ones like challenging cutouts, advanced manipulations and altering objects or person’s shape
• Digital restoration and repair of damaged/old photos using image editing techniques to remove undesired visible features, such as dirt, scratches, or signs of aging, or to add or replace missing/obscured objects on photographs.
• Batch processing high number of images using Lightroom
• To create end design photo albums as per clients requirements.
• Carrying out design of various images for print on stock items to clients specific needs

All the above was done daily in busy environment with some projects requiring swift completion, ensuring tasks were completed efficiently and accurately.

• Capturing footage in studio or outside broadcast programs for local media productions, such as:
  • Following camera script cued by director interpreting director’s ideas to achieve desired effect.
  • Editing and selecting best shots from available video material and applying color correction.
  • Assembling, preparing and setting up equipment prior to filming, including tripods, monitors, lighting, cables, leads and headphones.
  • Assessing visual impact created by particular shots and composition.
  • Filming live events, such as sporting, news and ceremonial occasions, music performances.
  • Planning shots, resolving technical or practical problems during footage.

• Shooting outside broadcast programs for television where my responsibilities consisted of:
  • Live broadcasting, working individually on filming live events such as news, sports, ceremonial occasions and entertaining events
  • Assembling, preparing and setting up equipment such as tripods, monitors, lighting, cables, leads and headphones
  • Planning and arranging shots for best execution; assessing visual impact created by particular shots especially when shooting outdoors;
  • Finding solutions to resolve technical or other practical problems for outside broadcast, such as natural light conditions to be considered when setting up shots
  • Keeping up to date with filming methods and equipment;
  • Maintaining equipment;
