  • Implement supply Activities as outlined in the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) of Mission Support Division- MSD and Mission rules and regulation. Lead specific task assignment or unit project initiatives. Control and monitor the materials in the Supply Chain warehouse including the attendant of supply chain staff within the unit/section.
  • Responsible for the receipt, storage, maintenance, security, and issue of stocks from the State Capital’s warehouse. Ensure all items received for storage are labeled, properly arranged in the storage shelves/bins, and correctly entered into the database. Conducts proper warehouse keeping in a continuous basis.
  • Receives and processes requests for goods and prepares the pick list and Issue Vouchers for approved requests. Prepares inventory for delivery against approved issue vouchers and ensure timely delivery of goods to the beneficiaries.
  • Tracks the issues and consumption of expendable items per DFS scales of issue.
  • Undertakes the conduct of monthly stock taking of expendable items as well as annual full physical inventories as required.
  • Ensures database accuracy for the movement of stock in the warehouse. When discrepancies are noted, initiates investigation and correction of database records as required.
  • Assist in implementing administrative activities, i.e, recruiting of individual contractors for supply chain.
  • Processing of issue vouchers, return vouchers, hand over voucher in UMOJA system.
  • Monitor the attendance and Movement of the staff in supply section
  • To identify surplus, dormant, and obsolete expendables and non- expendables which are damaged beyond economic repair, and those which passed serviceable lives; Label and put them in lots and recommend for the appropriate WODM actions to be taken.
  • Submits reports at prescribed time intervals for activities in all warehouses to management.
