R&D Scientist & Project Manager in Cell Biology

  • Cryopreservation and culture of immortalized pancreatic cell lines and patient derived pancreatic biopsies.
  • 3D cell culture (immortalized cells & patient derived organoids-PDOs).
  • Plasmid generation and purification (bacterial transformation, DNA extraction & agarose gel electrophoresis).
  • CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing on pancreatic-derived cells (Knock-in / Knock-out)
  • Transfection assays (lipofection, Amaxa & Neon nucelofection)
  • Clonal selection and data validation using various molecular/biochemical techniques (WB, gPCR, qRT-PCR, Flow cytometry, IF) and analysis utilizing corresponding softwares (ImageLab, CFX manager, ZEN, ImageJ, GraphPad Prism).
  • Imaging of 2D/3D cultures (AxioObserver, confocal, spinning disk, holography, cellnsight)
  • Functional analysis (cell cycle, proliferation, senescence, apoptosis, adhesion, viability).
  • RNA extraction & cryopreservation of skin biopsies.
  • Writing of technical/scientific reports, scientific articles and a thesis manuscript.
  • Supervision of master students.
  • Oral communication of my research work in 2 national seminars.
