Context: The CACIB Executive Committee wishes to strengthen the monitoring and support of the bank's strategic projects. I joined the AQSP team to take charge of the monitoring of the Global Markets project portfolio.
Main missions
- Follow-up of a portfolio of 7 projects and programs
- Analysis of projects and advisory
- Methodological support on project management
- Drafting of opinions on projects during their annual appearance in the Project Review Committee before the Executive Committee
- Production of a quarterly report for the Executive Committee
Context: The Execution Management (EXM) department carries out the execution of market operations in accordance with the instructions of the steering teams, financing plans, and supervision at the limit of activities. The teams are located around the world (17 locations) and in several entities (CACIB, Crédit Agricole SA, IWM and BPI). I worked as a Project Manager to support the Treasury business in the change of the feont office booking tool, a 3-year project identified as "strategic" for the Bank.
Main missions:
- Set up the project governance, the instances and the structure in 5 streams
- Lead the various committees (weekly project committee, monthly steering committee, weekly sponsor meeting)
- Drive the production of business requirements in support of the operational teams
- Assist project managers by stream on the project methodology
- Identify and monitor project risks and dependencies and associated mitigation plans
- Define the migration strategy, the schedule and the associated budget (in coordination with the IT Project Manager)
- Preparation of the scoping note and presentation to the Executive Committee
Context: As part of a transformation program, I supported the General Management on the implementation of the transformation of the management of the action plans related to all the Bank's non-financial risks.
The mission is divided into 3 parts :
1) The application management
- Animation of scoping workshops and definition of the product vision in collaboration with the Sponsor
- Building and prioritization of the backlog (recommendation of the WSJF method)
- Definition and implementation of a hybrid, semi-automated testing strategy in a logic of operational efficiency and risk reduction
- Realization of a cross-functional study on the implementation of repository management automation
- Coordination with the Support and Change teams
2) The migration management (5 migrations carried out, several others planned)
- Definition of the migration strategy (order and method - manual or automated)
- Analysis of requirements and construction of a dedicated backlog
- Monitoring and management of each migration in the different phases
3) The deployment
- Presentation and promotion of the solution to the business lines not yet onboarded
- Strategy proposal
Context: As part of a transformation program, I supported the General Management on the implementation of the transformation of the management of the action plans related to all the Bank's non-financial risks.
- Management of a team of 4 business analysts, distribution of tasks and studies to be carried out
- Writing of user stories and associated tests
- Facilitation of scrum ceremonies and workshops
Context: The BUs are managed by 3 stream leaders (Management, Business and Expertise), supervised by a Leader. The Digital & Marketing BU of Vertuo Conseil represents 40 consultants.
- Define priorities and validate the roadmap of internal productions
- Mentor and follow the stream leaders for their respective streams
- Communicate and carry the strategic vision of the firm
- Manage human issues related to the evolution of consultants
Context: The MiFID II regulation imposes a framework on the trading "OTC" financial products. In particular, brokers are required to offer "trading venues" that meet clear constraints.
Smartpills, fintech member of the OTCex group, develops intelligent trading platforms.
Platforms deployment:
- Onboarding management: follow-up, reporting and relationship with the Trading, Compliance and Tech departments, for the installation of the solution
- Planning and organization of commercial launches
- Commercial deployment: definition of the strategy, production of marketing materials, road-show with clients (major investment banks Europe/USA) to present the product, organization of events
Participation in product design and monitoring:
- Animation of workshops to gather requirements with business lines / users and writing of user stories in Jira
- Participation in sprints, prioritization of tasks
- Writing of acceptance tests
Change management:
- Internal training on brokers desks
- External training on trading desks in banks
- Writing of user guides (administration and end user)
- Communication plan definition
Context: As part of the development of its interest rate swap options business, HPC needed to expand its team to improve client coverage.
