Responsible for French and Luxembourg funds, UCITS and AIFs

Advising clients on their corporate and financial businesses, including investment funds matters

• Licensing Luxembourg investment fund managers (UCITS and AIFM) and advising on their legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., MIFID II, CSSF Circular 18/698, AML, SFTR, EMIR or SFDR) and other aspects of their investment management business
• Setting up regulated investment funds and advising financial institutions on ongoing matters linked to the structuring, documenting and marketing of these investment funds.

• Advising asset managers on the setting up and structuring of their Luxembourg investment funds, with a particular focus on UCITS and UCITS related matters.

• Setting up and structuring management companies and various types of investment vehicles: UCITS (including ETFs), UCIs, SIFs and SICARs, covering all asset classes; drafting and negotiating fund documentation and assisting clients in their dealings with the regulatory authority (CSSF)

• Merger & Acquisitions / Banking and Finance: negotiating and drafting transactional documents, legal audits; advising French financial institutions on their activities and organisations.

• Advising on legal and taxation aspects of French private equity investment funds, LBOs and venture capital; drafting legal documentation relating to venture investment funds investing in innovation companies.
