Deadline-driven and results-oriented ex Soldier and Police Officer with over 16 years of experience in my final role as a Authorised Firearms Officer/Specialist Firearms Officer/Counter Terrorism Specialist Firearms Officer and National Firearms Instructor. Resourceful lead planner and lead Instructor focused on all areas of Firearms operations and the implementation of content from the National Police Firearms Training Curriculum (NPFTC).

A conscientious and hard working team member, dedicated to whatever role I am employed in.


Retired from the Police Service in September 2021.


October 2021 - October 2022 - Resided in France on a 12 month visa. No work undertaken in this time period.


October 2022 - December 2024 - Volunteer shop and gallery assistant in local art school run and owned by my brother. Friendly and resourceful assistant creating a welcoming environment and assisting behind the scenes in an ever changing and developing volunteer role.


December 2024 - Present - Finalised sale of property within UK before applying for a long term visa in France. Moved to France in May 2025.

Affiliations

  • I am a keen walker, backpacker, cyclist and have recently discovered bikepacking. I have walked numerous trails through France, Spain and Portugal covering large distances on foot over 30 - 40 days of travel. I am also a keen downhill and alpine skier in the winter months and have recently started plans to move to the French Alps in 2026.
