- Investigated micro-scale sensors data analysis for chronic air pollution forecasts using machine learning ( KNNs, Random Forest, eXtreme Gradient Boosting and ANNs )and statistical methods (Data Assimilation).
- Derived a generic framework for air pollution forecasting methods comparisons. Extensive data sets were generated considering different hyperparameters. Forecast of air pollution concentrations following well-designated land use data and meteorological data, and the study of the impact of both the sensing errors and simulations' errors of a numerical model on the mapping quality.
- Collaborated with researchers and scientists to design and execute experiments.
- Managed, prepared and manipulated extensive data sets.
- Coded solutions using Python and some of its relative libraries.
- Presented results in scientific meetings and a conference.
