

Henrique Lyrio Cavalcanti de Albuquerque was born on August 24, 2005, in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He graduated from high school in December 2023 and gained direct admission to study International Relations at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where he studied for one semester before moving to Portugal. He then began pursuing the same field at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra, and joined the FIFPO project, a 5-year binational partnership with Sciences Po Bordeaux. He has won 1st place in a state-level writing contest when in 6th grade, and gotten a top 10 spot in a national level one when in 8th grade. He has went to multiple UN simulations both in Brazil and in Portugal. He is fluent in Portuguese and English and has a conversational level of Spanish and an intermediate level of French. He is a published author, with one title officially on the market and others in production.
Author of a fantasy book, titled Chronicles of Chaos & Order Volume I: Echoes of War (so far only available in Portuguese, but in paperback and digital format), published by the editorial house Ases da Literatura, first of a series of ongoing titles currently under production.
I managed the rental of electric boats for the company Amuras on the Mondego River in Coimbra, working at Parque Verde do Mondego.
Responsibilities included advertising (attracting clients to learn more about the opportunity and persuading them to take the tour), negotiating prices, monitoring both the company's equipment and the safety of clients, and providing support on land and on the water (I am the owner of a Carteira de Arráis, a permit from the Brazilian Navy to conduct motorboats).
Volunteered as a member of the race committee for the Youth Sailing World Championships in Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in December 2023, assisting with on-water signaling, results verification, and start and finish procedures.
