Assistant Development Engineer within a project team :

• Measurement of electrical parameters for products qualification.
• Development and execution of tests for prototypes qualification.
• Creation of test programs for pre-production runs.
• Technical support for production and the Test Equipment department.
• Creation and management of prototypes for internal and external customers : mechanical and electronic assemblies, management of associated documentation.

Manufacturing of testers for production and the R&D department :

• Participation in the design of current sensor testers.
• Rack or cabinet integration and cabling of measuring devices.
• PC hardware and software configuration: OS installation (Windows), installation of measurement boards, and configuration of the softwares.
• Creation of programs with : GUI (Guide User Interface) / control of measuring devices (IEEE/RS232 interface) / control of I/O and DAQ boards.
• Design of small electronics PCB required for testing (CAD).
• Commissioning and monitoring of test benches: validation plan, R&R, etc.
• Continuous improvement of production testers : bug fixes, addition of tests, etc.
• Development of specifications for subcontracting, writing of technical documentations.

Maintenance of testers and machines in the following areas :

• Electronics troubleshooting and adjustment.
• Computer science : Test benches controlled by LabWindows CVI or Visual Basic.
• Basic automation : manual control of cylinders, rotary tables, sensors etc...
• Use of CMMS software.
• Adherence to preventive maintenance schedules / creation of associated documentations.
• Spare parts inventory management.

Manufacturing of testers for production and support function :

• Establishment of test specifications and test plans for products.
• Development of tests on specific functional testers or PCs.
• Product support : defect analysis, implementation of corrective actions.
• Production process support : optimization of testing processes.
• Technical support for quality control.

Monitoring of a new product line in production (CTO cordless phones, FM band).

• Production start-up and tester debugging.
• Participation in the development of a test bench for radio electronic boards (Marconi 2945 bench).
• Organization of troubleshooting stations / training of repair technicians: 5 people.

Troubleshooting, telephone support, on-site visits :

• Troubleshooting of wired and cordless phone terminals (FM), fax machines, micro switches.
• Development and qualification of a radio measurement system for cordless phones (Rhode & Schwarz CMS 52 bench).
• Maintenance of an acoustic test bench (on-site visits).
• On-site visits to customers for troubleshooting and expertise.
• Phone support.
