  • Operate and maintain the AMOS system to oversee the inventory of consumables and spare parts across all departments

  • Raise requisitions for goods and services and work with the supply chain and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Ensure all stock is securely stored and maintained to prevent damage or injury
  • Coordinate and manage all Technical and Deck landings and loadings


II Shipsure Software 20 (Marine Digital Platform)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee stock levels and requisitions for both the engine and deck department stores and spare parts
  • Supervise services for both the engine and deck departments

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Set up storerooms, manage stock orders, and input data into the Shipsure computerized system
  • Develop and improve procedures for stock procurement and receiving on board
  • Manage stock transactions within the vessel's guarantee process
  • Take ownership of the Deck, Technical, and Technical Hotel inventories, ensuring proper condition and management
  • Ensure all ordered spare parts meet vessel requirements and technical specifications
  • Maintain adequate stock levels for spare parts and consumables, collaborating with Superintendents to forecast demand for the next 12 months
  • Record critical and minimum operating stock levels, ensuring compliance with client policies regarding delivery, storage, and release
  • Handle all ordering, storage, and usage of consumables on board
  • Resolve conflicts regarding stock and consumables by ensuring adherence to release procedures
  • Raise, control, and close requisitions for Deck and Engine departments as directed by the Chief Engineer and/or Staff Captain
  • Keep an up-to-date inventory of spare parts and consumables for the Technical department, ensuring accurate records in Shipsure and proper filing of associated documentation
  • Drive continuous process and system improvements, presenting proposed efficiencies to Superintendents and the Head of Department
  • Close items upon receipt and ensure they are properly entered into stock as per instructions from the relevant department heads
  • Prepare bi-monthly stock checks for technical stores and spares or as requested by Superintendents
  • Collaborate with ships of the same class within the fleet to source spare parts before placing orders, enhancing efficiency and optimizing technical spares budgets
