1- Plan, schedule, supervise, and perform the substation and BoP daily/weekly and monthly Maintenance activities and control its compliance with RGWE Procedures and good industry practice.
2- Maintain and follow up the substation and BoP spare parts stock, tools, and consumables that are required for the substation's safe operation and maintenance process, and ensure the sourcing of such spares and tools and prepare the purchase request as per the RGWE procurement policy and procedure.
3- Review and maintain the assets register and the store item movement reports.
4- Prepare, maintain, and follow up on the annual maintenance plan considering the full coordination with all concerned parties and the windy seasons.
5- Ensure the LOTO, PTW, CMMS, and HSSE procedure and policies implementation in all related maintenance activities.
6- Support the O&M Engineers for operational & production reporting.
7- Support the O&M manager in achieving O&M targets and strategies.
8- Review and update the RGWE substation and BoP maintenance procedures.
9- Prepare and maintain any substation and BoP equipment failure, RCA, incident, and status reports.
10- Prepare for and attend any internal/external maintenance activities audit and prepare the required related documentation and reports.
11- Support the O&M engineers to coordinate with EETC regarding dispatch, maintenance, outages, testing, metering, communication, and other Operating Committee matters.
12- Supervise, lead, and train site technicians for all maintenance activities.
13- Perform daily toolbox talking (TBT) with the maintenance team.
14- Conducting regular inspections of wind turbines to identify any potential issues or maintenance needs.
15- .Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of parts.
16- Troubleshooting and repairing any mechanical or electrical problems that arise.
17- Conducting tests and measurements to ensure that the turbines are operating at optimal levels.
18- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
19- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to develop and implement maintenance plans.
20- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in wind turbine technology.
21- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
22- Participating in emergency response and repair efforts as needed.
