Responsible for all aspects of technical development including transversal platforms and Product Research as well as Product Stewardship and Alliance Management. Developing the team’s capabilities in technical specialization, QBD, process excellence and new pharmaceutical dosage forms and technologies. Consistently delivered all KPIs and built CofE capability.

The scientific leader of a large cross-functional team with full accountability for the innovation strategy, pipeline development and delivery for Allegra, Nasacort and Mucosolvan, brands. Led the life cycle management strategy and pipeline development for the Tamiflu Rx to OTC switch.

Completely rebuilt a strong balanced pipeline.

Led product development teams based in India and Nyon. Responsibility for sub-category leadership of the entire Voltaren R&D team and the innovation strategy and pipeline delivery in partnership with the Commercial VP.

Functional lead for the R&D global product development team of thirty associates, working on the Voltaren (topicals and systemics) and Excedrin (systemics) brands, responsible for ideation through to product launch. At the Franchise level played a significant role in developing the 5-year strategy plan. In particular, was the thought leader in developing the ideation and innovation strategies to deliver a more balanced innovation pipeline. Built and led Category R&D Centres of Excellence for Topicals (Switzerland) and Systemic (USA) dosage forms. Delivered numerous Voltaren and Excedrin products to the market
