I am in my third year of my BCL Law and French degree in University College Cork. I am currently on my Erasmus year in Lyon, France where I am attending Université Jean Moulin Lyon III.
I oversaw the operation of the Clubhouse Bar while I was a member of the Bandon Rugby Football Club. My job was to analyse sales and customer trends in order to place stock orders for beverages and equipment. I reduced customer wait times by providing accurate and timely drink service at large gatherings. In addition, I managed birthday events and the annual barbecue. It was my duty to open and close the bar and to ensure that the Bar was always a welcoming spot for club members to congregate after matches.
As the bar manager at the Pier house Bar in Courtmacsherry, my objective was to guide the team toward exceptional hospitality operations. In this position, it was my duty to spot and deal with under performance and non-compliance. By establishing a friendly atmosphere and providing excellent service, I developed a loyal clientele. I recognised how crucial it was to have a beautifully presented and maintained bar in addition to praising excellent efforts from the staff to increase morale and output. I addressed complaints in a cool, collected manner to satisfy customers. In order to maximise productivity and reduce waste, I also monitored and maintained stock levels.
I encountered an abundance of responsibility and maturity when I was the Children’s Lodge manager. These included filing and printing documents, taking phone calls, enrolling students, running camps, interacting with parents, book keeping, depositing money into the business’ bank account, planning school tours, and bus scheduling. I have Guarda Vetting through the Children’s Lodge Montessori School.
Taking orders and interacting with customers gave me the chance to further develop my people skills as a waitress/barista at Cracked in Bandon. I established trusting bonds with clients by remembering their names and frequent orders in to maintain rapport and loyalty. I created and delivered drinks in a prompt fasion to maintain efficient service during peak café hours. I kept up-to-date knowledge of the ingredients, recipes, and an extensive drinks menu by using my excellent memorisation skills. I also ensured that the kitchen staff were aware of of any strict dietary requirements to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. I met customer demand by meeting high volume coffee orders with accuracy and rapidity. By offering amiable and cordial service, I maximised the positive feedback I received from customers.

I'm passionate about music. With the Victoria College of Music and Drama in London, I perform on the piano. I have grades one through seven. I enjoy being creative, and music enables me do so.
My primary recreational activity is horse riding, more specifically showjumping. I grew up around horses, who instilled in me a great deal of responsibility and dedication. From 2013 to present, I compete under the organisation Showjumping Ireland (SJI). I passed my road safety test and earned my D, D+, C, and C+ grades while I was a member of the Carbery Hunt Pony Club for many years. Over the past few years, I’ve been working on breaking in a horse of my own, and it has been a very rewarding experience that has taught me gratitude, patience, bravery and commitment.
