Conducted security code reviews for both the SoC vendor SDK and Vantiva's proprietary software modules.

Studied and defined the SoC vendor's secure boot mechanism, establishing a secure boot conversion process. Managed code signing operations and executed binary analysis on Broadband product images. Authored, maintained, and released documentation for all defined processes. Actively engaged with internal and OEM developers, technical managers, and product managers to address issues, manage resource requests, facilitate communication, and provide technical clarifications.

Create tailored presentations for potential Thales CPL customers in various industries, showcasing products such as Luna/payShield/ProtectServer HSM, CipherTrust Manager, and the CipherTrust Data Security Platform. Coordinate on-site proof of concept demonstrations by simulating the customer's production environment, designing system architecture diagrams, and validating product functionality.

Provide on-site support for HSM and KMS hardware installation, configuration, and initialization. Tasks include rack mounting, switch wiring, network configuration, RBAC, MofN with MFA setup, mutual digital certificate authentication via NTLs, and HA cluster setup in active-active or active-standby configurations.

Support Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) functional teams in managing X.509 digital certificates, hardware fixture certificates, and firmware code-signing throughout the development lifecycle. Designed and managed a comprehensive Public Key Infrastructure ecosystem, including CA servers, AWS-hosted certificate services, and HSM servers, automating and securing the production of all HBT firmware, IoT, software, web applications, and products.

Analyze and audit binary scanners and static code analysis tools to ensure product security during testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards and corporate policies. Implemented a high availability and security-enhanced Public Key Infrastructure service for HBT, supporting two million API requests monthly. This service streamlined certificate issuance and code signing, reducing labor costs and enhancing product security and yield rates.

Facilitate adherence to security policies, standards, and guidance within HBT functional teams by participating in the review and verification of HBT’s interpretation of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Led the development of an Android application for controlling Honeywell smart thermostats and IoT devices. Responsibilities included implementing UI/UX design, workflow documents, and incorporating recommended design patterns for improved reliability. Ensured enhanced security through code analysis, binary scanning, and the addition of unit, integration, and functional testing.

Streamlined the codebase to consolidate security and reliability, focusing on simplifying the logic of device provisioning. This involved configuring smart devices and establishing connections to cloud services through network communication involving home Wi-Fi, device Wi-Fi AP mode, and Bluetooth.

Led a cross-border team of five in developing an Android application aspiring to be the "Uber of part-time jobs and services." Responsible for Android development, I collaborated in weekly design meetings with the lead backend, iOS, and UI members from China and the US. Managed technical issues across platforms, made architectural decisions aligned with application requirements, and generated Jira tickets to drive project progress.

The client-side admin tool, interfacing with the server through an API, generates graphical charts and serves as a monitoring tool, providing notifications if CPU, memory, or disk usage exceeds set limitations.
