In 1998, I achieved the 175th-highest score on the national university entrance examination in Iran. My medical studies were conducted at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences between 1998 and 2006. In 2009, I was accepted as a psychiatry resident at the Iran University of Medical Sciences. I was selected as the top resident of the year by the psychiatry department in 2012. As of 2013, I have been employed as a full-time assistant professor of psychiatry at the Iran University of Medical Sciences after receiving the highest ranking on the national psychiatry board examination . The promotion to associate professor took place in 2021. During these years, I have had the opportunity to work with patients with mental health in psychiatric and general hospitals . Moreover, as a university lecturer, I was involved in the education, mentoring and supervision of a variety of students. Since 2014, I have been practicing in the psychosomatic ward, the old-age psychiatry unit of General Hospital. I also did psychiatric consultations at heart and burn hospitals for several years. I have also held executive positions such as the Education Deputy-chairman of the psychiatry department and Executive director of the old-age psychiatry residency program.
