I have been teaching English to French pupils for 26 years, mainly in secondary school, but also in primary schools, highschools, university and some adults as well. My main focuses are the children's well-being and learning through play. I am not a typical teacher, I want the lessons to be fun and interactive, so that the children are happy to come to class and learn new things . I teach through play, storytelling and various games, flexible seating to meet the kids' natural needs of movement. I often teach outdoors as well, and I also teach them relaxation techniques and yoga, to help them feel good and focus. I often use multimedia to make the lessons more interactive and funnier. I chose to teach SEN children (several groups each year) because I believe they deserve special attention. I think what makes me different from the usual teacher is that I genuinely care for children, I am very empathetic and creative.
