Battery characterization engineer in medical industry. Current role emphasizes characterization testing of cells for medical products and development and review of Battery Management Systems. Recent graduate of electrochemical technology masters program. Detailed theoretical and functional understanding of physics and chemistry of modern battery design. Experience building and testing battery components in-lab and executing various wet chemical processes. Analyzing batteries in terms of chemistry, physical structure for sources of degradation and overpotential. Experience processing and analyzing data using Python, Pandas and other modern software packages, XPS and SEM microscopy and elemental analysis.
• Working within vacuums/flushed environments within
glovebox, reproducible coin cell construction, titration, slurry making, circuit board assembly, troubleshooting
experiments.

• Python/Pandas: Extensive experience processing and analyzing data, finding fits of models, automating data processing and analysis
• COMSOL: Modeling and interpreting physical models of cells, interpreting and manipulating pre-existing physical models
• EC Labs: Acquiring wet lab data for electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), voltammetry, chronoamperometry, sampled current voltammetry, modeling equivalent circuits
