  • I Joined the M/Y Perla Bianca on the first May 2023 as a Deckhand, when she was still in Baglieto's shipyard as a new build in LaSpezia. Throughout the summer my job consisted in maintaining the vessel constantly clean for the owners and was assigned at the bow station to the windlass for the mooring lines when leaving or entering a port. I also at intervals with my deck colleague was task with taking the tender (16meters) in and out ports for towing. As the season ended the ship was moored in Saint-Tropez for the winter, from October to December i worked on maintaining the teak and helped the Chief Engineer in various task and by December we learned that the ship was being put for sale and so my contract ended.

As i was the only Deckhand on board i managed the bow station and the stern station while in mooring operations. winter time i performed basic maintaining of the deck and shared the permanence on the vessel with the Captain.
