Accomplished Tech Lead at Beta.gouv.fr with a proven track record in Ruby on Rails and technical problem solving.
Known for elegant code writing and fostering team collaboration, driving significant improvements in project outcomes and team growth.
Inside the French government startup rdv-insertion (2 developers, 1 product owner, 2 csm, 2 business developers), I built from scratch and am technical lead for RDV-Insertion (https://www.rdv-insertion.fr/), a Ruby on Rails platform used by regional authorities and social organizations to coordinate outreach and appointments at scale for people in need.
As Lead Developer, my daily responsibilities include:
- Building the app's foundation and improving its architecture to ensure its scalability and efficiency
- Ensuring code quality and maintainability through rigorous development practices and code reviews
- Collaboratively designing the product roadmap with the product team to align technical and business goals
- Providing mentorship to new developers and holding regular one-on-one meetings to support their growth within the organization
- Leading interview panels to recruit new team members who fit our culture and technical needs
The source code and the product backlog of the application can be seen at https://github.com/betagouv/rdv-insertion

Inside the Shopify team (2 developers, 1 PM, 1 manager), I was responsible for developing new features and maintaining the Algolia for Shopify integration.
This included building new functionality in our dashboard application (Rails / React) to enhance the user experience between Shopify and Algolia, as well as optimizing our real-time indexing pipeline (Sinatra / Redis) to handle a high volume of updates with minimal latency.
Beyond writing high-quality code, the main challenge was ensuring the system remained performant under heavy load, where even brief indexing delays could have a major financial impact.
During that time, the app’s ARR doubled, and we tackled significant scaling challenges—such as processing 6.6 million updates and triggering 21 million indexing operations on Black Friday 2020 without a single incident.

Alongside another developer I was developing critical features of Tellida, a RoR/React Shopify application that interacts with both Shopify and Stripe APIs to allow recurring payments for plans or membership.
We deployed the application and adapted its architecture to fit the needs of Joone, one of the biggest Shopify store in France.

In a team of 3 developers and 1 product owner I was developing from scratch a biometric authentification platform in a microservices architecture. The solution was then deployed and used in physical stores.
