  • Strategic Planning & Policy: Contributed to the bottom-up preparation of Oman’s 11th Five-Year Plan under Vision 2040, revising baseline scenarios and projections; enhanced the Ministry’s capacity for evidence-based planning.
  • Trade & Export Diversification: Co-developed the National Non-Oil Export Strategy (exports, re-exports, and services); conducted structural analysis of exports of Sultanate of Oman to the U.S., Saudi Arabia, and UAE; advised on U.S. tariffs impact — informing national diversification policies.
  • Innovation & Competitiveness: Designed patent-related indicators linked to the Global Innovation Index; set measurable targets that improved Oman’s innovation metrics.
  • Institutional Reform: Authored the blueprint for the National Economic Council; led comparative studies that resulted in new directives restructuring Oman’s MICE sector.
  • Policy Tools & Governance: Introduced policy briefs at MoCIIP, institutionalizing evidence-based decision-making; provided expert input on Central Bank Law, telecom regulations, and taxation of international parcels.
